Dance Class Information

We Teach The Cecchetti Style Ballet

Tuition 2016 / 2017 Prices

Jazz or Tap add $10 a month per style Maximun Tuition $125 per month per child

Graded Syllabus classes will be $15 per month in addition to regular ballet classes.

Second style dance $15.00 extra per month.

Third style dance $5.00 extra per month.

Each other family member will recieve a 15% discount on first class taken.

Tuition is due the end of each month. Any account not paid in full by the 15th will be subject to a late fee of $5.00.

Costume deposits of $25.00 are due December 1st balances will be billed in February. Students can plan on one costume per class taken.

Annual registration fee of $25.00 is due at time of registration.

Annual recital fee of $25 per family paid.

Placement Classes

There will be a placement class for all students ages 7 and up enrolling in Ballet. You will receive a placement class time during registration. We will be looking for students awareness of their body, technique, maturity, and level of achievement.

Classes and Levels

Creative Movement ages 4 & 5: Designed to introduce the pre-school child to the world of dance and movement. Classes will promote socialization, listening skills, and will help children develop an awareness of how their bodies can move.

Ballet ages 6 & up: Ballet is a classical dance form which is the foundation for all dance. Classes will emphasize technique and proper body alignment, as well as flexibility, strength, grace, coordination, musicality and performance quality.

Tap ages 6 & up: Tap classes will emphasize rhythm, style and sound. Students will study basic tap steps, combinations and rhythms with an emphasis on developing proper tap technique and producing clear tap sounds. Students must take 1 ballet class per week to participate in tap.

Jazz ages 7 & up with 1 year prior ballet: Jazz class will emphasize rhythm, coordination, strength, flexibility and isolation of movements. Students will learn proper dance technique, as well as improving performance quality. Students must take 1 ballet class per week to participate in Jazz.

Dress Code

Ballet - Black leotard without skirt, pale pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair in bun. If too short for bun, pull back from face.

Tap - Black leotard without skirt, pale pink tights, black tap shoes (children - low heel with ties, teen/adults - oxford tap shoes), hair pulled back.

Jazz - Leotard/Unitard, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes, hair pulled back.

Boys - White crew neck T-shirt, black sweats, white socks, black ballet or tap shoes.

Studio policies must be adhered to at all times.
